Church Membership
We welcome all of you to become official members of the Orthodox church and our commumity of Nottingham and Derby.
Members of the Orthodox Church can become all baptized Christians who receive the Sacraments of the Orthodox Church, who live its life and hold its faith, observing its ordinances and Holy Canons.
The members of the Orthodox Church in Great Britain are all the Greek Orthodox Christians under the spiritual juristiction of the Archdiocese of Thyateira and Great Britain, and all those who live in countries belonging to the Exarchate, and who participate actively in faith and love in the Orthodox worship of the Greek Church, and in the organisation and administration of the Archdiocese and its local communities, helping morally and materially, and abiding actively by the faith and Holy traditions of Orthodoxy and by the decisions of the Clergy-Laity conferences of the Greek community of the Archdiocese of Thyateira and Great Britain.
